Wang Qingyuan (b. 1995, Jiangsu Province, China; based in Beijing, China). Her works combine personal experience with social life, focusing on multiple expressions of aesthetics, identity and consciousness. Painting mostly on silk, Gongbi, a careful realist technique in Chinese painting, is her main artistic practice. She graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree from Nanjing University of the Arts in 2017, and received her Master’s Degree in Chinese National Academy of Arts in 2022.
