With many years of living in between the United States and Japan, Éi Kaneko (b. 1983, Tokyo, Japan) is currently based in Japan and best known for his distinctive graphite drawings full of collage elements. The motifs, often being people and animals, which are edited by him, are found on the internet, from magazines and other mediums surrounding him. The completed works are an analogue version of a photo-montage, where various images from various time spans and places come to one on a single dimension.
