Li Chuangli (b.1991, Wuhan) graduated from the Oil Painting Department of Hubei Normal University in 2014. Li Chuangli’s recent works show a broad interest in modernist-related issues and he has developed paintings in the path of pop art. These works are collages and appropriations of images related to mass culture, commercial products and social media in contemporary social life, and are created using the technical methods of advertising posters.
